4.1 General

This section explains how to configure system settings in iCreate.

Preparation

Before proceeding, select the target vessel as below.

  • a) Select the vessel you wish to edit from the shipyard.

  • b) Select System settings at the top center of the screen.

  • c) The OPS Settings screen will appear.

4.1.1 Editing General Settings

Edit the "General" items within System settings by clicking the [Edit] button.

4.1.2 General Items

Configure the following items.

a) Drawing ID

Enter an alphanumeric string of up to 16 characters to serve as the drawing management number.

b) Default language

Select either Japanese or English as the language used in the OPS. The default setting is English.

c) System clock

Select one of three patterns for time input configuration.

  1. Master (sync by pulse signal) Updates the system time based on a pulse signal input from a master clock.

  2. Master (sync by communication) Updates the system time by acquiring time data via NMEA communication from navigation equipment.

  3. Internal Updates the system time using the FCU’s internal clock.

d) UTC

Check this box to display UTC time on the OPS. If left unchecked, only local time is displayed.

e) (For JRCS only) JP Coast guard

A setting item reserved for future use. Check this box for orders intended for the Japan Coast Guard.

4.1.3 Finishing Editing

To save your changes, click the [Save settings] button. To discard your changes, click the [Cancel] button.
