Create a model

Overview

This section explains how to create a new model. A model can be created from the iCreate device management page.

A Model defines the standardized specifications, manufacturer details, and/or configuration capabilities for a specific type of device.

Prerequisites

Before proceeding, ensure the following requirements are met.

  • You have access to iCreate.

  • You are logged in to iCreate.

  • You are inside device management page.

  • You already have a device created.

Procedure

1. Click on the blue button to open the new model dialog

2. Write the model name

3. Write the model item code

4. Write a description (optional)

5. Click on "Create model" button

6. The new model was created successfully
